The Rookie

Unlike the movie (novel)-The Natural, "The Rookie" is based on true story. To everyone's surprise, Jimmy Morris (played by Dennis Quaid) threw 12 consecutive 98 mph fastball at his try-out and did actually become a major league player(Tampa Bay Devil Rays)at the age of 35. well, he might be the oldest rookie in major league history, which I'm sure about it, but his story is quite inspiring.
